Soak the oats in the hot water.
Cut one whole and half of the other pear into small cubes and slice the remaining half length-wise to use it as a topping. If necessary, remove the date pit of dates, cut and mash them into a paste.
In a pot, melt the vegan butter on medium heat and add the cubed pears and date-paste. After 4-5 minutes of cooking, add the spices and cook for another minute.
Add the soaked oats with the plant milk and cook until the porridge reaches your desired consistency. Right before the end, add a pinch of salt.
Top with the reserved pear slices and drizzle over the Tahini.
