Sumac Onions

This Turkish salad, combines thinly sliced onions, with bright and fresh flavours like sumac, lemon and parsley. It's the perfect condiment for BBQs or sandwiches.

Zutaten
  

  • 2-3 medium-sized red onions
  • 1 tablespoon sumac
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon juice
  • 1 handful fresh parsley
  • Salt

Method
 

  1. Thinly slice the onions with a knife or using a mandolin, roughly chop the parsley and add both to a bowl.
  2. Add all other ingredients, mix and adjust the seasoning to your taste. Eat it right away or let it marinate for a few minutes.
