About me

Cooking has been one of my passions for a while now. It is my love language and a way of connecting with other people. I love trying dishes from cultures all around the world and using ingredients I didn’t even know existed. I want to share my experience with food and hope that you can understand why I feel the way I do. 

My recipes follow two principles: First, they are vegan. The empathy and love I want to show others when cooking go beyond humans, and I believe no animal has to suffer to please our taste buds. This is my way of ensuring the well-being of all animals and saving the planet. This blog is not just for vegans, though. If you are looking to reduce your meat consumption, want to cook for a vegan friend, or look to explore new dishes, then you are more than welcome in this community.

The second principle is balance. I am a sports enthusiast and work out multiple times a week, which is why most of my recipes are designed to give your body the right fuel it needs to perform, without neglecting taste. Due to my eating-disordered past (and present), I also want to show that no ingredient or dish should be demonized, and that every meal deserves its place in this world. At the end of the day, people like you for who you are, not because of your looks.
