Coffee Porridge

This one is for all the caffeine addicted out there that can’t get enough out of this delicious bean. It’s one of the simplest recipes, yet so delicious.

  1. Soak the oats and fresh brewed coffee
  2. Cook your porridge with plant milk and some sweetener
  3. Add vegan yogurt, cashew butter and chopped dates

Notes & Substitutes

  • Use any nut butter or whole nuts you have on hand
  • Add maple syrup instead of chopped dates
  • Cocoa powder or dark chocolate would also be a good choice

Coffee Porridge

Oats, cooked in freshly brewed coffee. This is a recipe for all the people that are coffee addicted or not morning people

Zutaten
  

  • 75 g rolled oats
  • 200 ml coffee
  • 100-200 ml plant milk *
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or sweetener of choice
  • 3 tablespoons vegan yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon cashew butter *
  • 2 dates chopped*

Method
 

  1. Soak the oats in the hot coffee for 10 minutes
  2. In a pot, cook the oats on medium heat with maple syrup and a pinch of salt. Add plant milk as needed to adjust consistency. Transfer to a bowl
  3. Add vegan yogurt, cashew butter and chopped dates as toppings

  • Amount depends on soaking time and desired consistency
  • use any other nut butter, or whole nuts
  • alternatively, add another tablespoon of maple syrup
